The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit to host 4th annual Skate-a-Thon in Troy, Friday, Jan. 25

WHAT:  The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit has teamed up with the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies, Troy Sting and the Troy Youth Hockey Association for the 4th annual Skate-a-Thon benefitting the nonprofit’s Bed & Bread Club.

The Jr. Grizzlies, Sting and Troy Youth Hockey Association coaches and players have spent the last month raising pledge dollars for the multiple hour skate-a-thon.

DETAILS:  All proceeds from the event will be presented at the 26th annual Salvation Army Bed & Club Radiothon, airing live on News/Talk 760 WJR from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 at Oakland Mall in Troy.
